DRIDAY 2017 en Brasil
en la 6ta Edición del GRC Internacional y la 5ta Edición del DRIDAY Latin America en Sao Paulo, Brasil, uno de loa mayores eventos de Latinoamérica con enfoque en Gobierno, Riesgo, Cumplimiento, Recuperación ante Desastres y Continuidad de Negocios, promovido por DARYUS en colaboración del DRI Internacional.
Con el fin de fortalecer la comunidad de Continuidad de Negocios y aumentar la demanda y el número de certificados DRI en Brasil, 
además de traer a los miembros del Instituto a Brasil, este año Karol Cordero participó en un panel especial sobre Mujeres en Gestión de Riesgos, donde mujeres especialistas en Continuidad de Negocio y Riesgo discutieron las tendencias, los retos y la importancia de las mujeres dentro de un área habitualmente formada por un público masculino.
Para finalizar el evento, también hubo una ceremonia de entrega de placas para profesionales certificados DRI desde el año 2016, una forma de honrar y mostrar la importancia de ser parte de un grupo de élite.
