Experiencia en el Simulacro Nacional de Costa Rica
El pasado 19 de Agosto de 2019, la Comisión Nacional de Prevención de Riesgos y Atención de Emergencias -CNE- realizó el primer simulacro nacional de evacuación en Costa Rica.
De acuerdo con el periódico La Nación, 1.174.000 personas participaron de este simulacro de evacuación, incluyendo 18.000 personas con discapacidad y 455.561 niños y niñas, superando así las expectativas de participación por parte de la CNE.
De acuerdo con la presidencia de la república de Costa Rica, “previo a este simulacro, familias, centros de cuido de niños, escuelas, empresas, instituciones públicas y privadas entre otras, se identificaron con el ejercicio haciendo planes de emergencia, verificando sus rutas de evacuación y puntos de encuentro. Durante el ejercicio, Alexander Solís Delgado, presidente de la CNE, indicó sentirse muy satisfecho, ya que más de un millón de personas saben cómo responder ante un sismo poniendo sus vidas a salvo. ‘La mejor manera de celebrar nuestro aniversario es saber que los costarricenses y extranjeros que viven en nuestro país están más seguros y preparados’, concluyó Solís.”
Para explicarnos más sobre este simulacro, Jose Ibarra, profesional certificado CBCP del DRI, master en ciber seguridad y parte de la brigada de emergencias del Banco Central, nos ha compartido su experiencia viviendo de cerca la coordinación de la evacuación en uno de los principales edificios de San José, capital del País.
