Continuidad y Cupcakes en la primer reunión del Comité de Mujeres en BCM en Brasil
Como encargada del Subcomité de Mujeres en Continuidad de Negocio del DRI en Brasil, estoy encantada de compartir con todos ustedes en nuestra comunidad una experiencia increíble que tuvimos el 16 de agosto de 2018. Tuvimos el primer WBCM de América Latina con el apoyo de nuestra organización asociada Daryus en Brasil. Se proporcionaron refrigerios y refrescos, así como espacio para que nos reuniéramos. Traje algunos cupcakes con el logo de nuestro comité, ¡fue el punto culminante de la reunión (también fueron buenos)!
En esta primera reunión, tuvimos cerca de 12 mujeres de la industria financiera que trabajan en BCM, gestión de crisis y recuperación de desastres. Estábamos todas muy entusiasmadas de tener un foro para nuestras carreras, desafíos, planes y logros como mujeres individuales y las expectativas de que este viaje juntas siga adelante.
Entre los aspectos más destacados de la reunión se encuentran la creación de redes y la comprensión de que todas tenemos los mismos desafíos y nos gustaría crecer en nuestras posiciones. Primero, me presenté y el propósito de nuestra reunión: “Reunir a las mujeres para forjar redes personales sólidas y ayudar a las mujeres a avanzar dentro de sus campos elegidos”. Luego las damas se presentaron y discutieron sus expectativas para la reunión que se avecinaba.
Luego presenté las diapositivas: la junta de WBCM, el Panel de Gestión de la Continuidad de las Mujeres en las Empresas: Estadísticas para el campo (Los desafíos – Resultados de las encuestas de audiencia y discusión de la mesa redonda), y abrí la discusión. Les dije que lo traeremos a Brasil en nuestra próxima reunión.
